Wednesday is the one day of the week we don’t have to be anywhere at a certain time. We take things slow and I make sure I sit and talk and play with the kids as they seek my attention. Each year I can almost guarantee you that I will receive a Jamie Oliver cook book for Christmas. The man is quite the marketing genius and I am also very fond of him, so I am really very happy to receive his books as gifts. They are always rather lovely and I have a couple of go-to recipes in each and refer to them when my meal plan needs a bit of jooshing.  Continue reading

Jamie’s super eggs

I received a copy of Jamie Oliver’s Everyday Super Food cook book for Christmas last year. I haven’t used it all that much but am planning to sit down this afternoon and bookmark a couple of recipes to try out on the family over the next week or so.
